Franz Schmeißer - the companies founder - is the kind of person who is always striving to

make things better. When the company opened in 1998 the main task of the company was

assembling and quality control for other companies. The company has since matured and

has developed it's own model trains.

Franz Schmeißer was presented with a unique challenge when he was told that it was

impossible to make a live-steam engine in HO; which is efficient and easy to handle.

After a period of research the company is proud to present two steam engines in HO

at the International Toy Fair 2000, held in Nürnberg.

Our first shifter controlled model is fashioned after the 310.23 an Austrian model. The

original was been restored in 1999. The difference is, we could not find a person who

fitted into the drivers cabin to fire it with coals. By designing the trains to run on lighter

liquid, we have made it easier for you to play with. Our dream model "Ramona",

as little as she is, is a live-steam model as well. When looking at her from the back,

can you see her smile?

All members of this family sized company live the companies slogan "a family driven by

steam power", and our attitudes are driven by hart felt enthusiasm. The members of the

development department work continuously on new models to make your dreams come
